Pet food covers a wider size range than almost any other category. The same plant may pack a small treat bag and a bulk sack of kibble, and both are well served once each format has equipment specified for it.
Large formats have their own engineering
Bulk packs run heavy film, which needs more pulling force and a longer sealing dwell. A bagmaker built for that duty delivers both, and that is what keeps large packs sealing cleanly at rate.
